What are the costs and options if I want to use Online Giving with Ekklesia 360?
Why should I use an online giving system?
While the offering plate and envelopes are still viable options to collect tithes, offerings, and donations, the world and your congregants are shifting into a digital era where online shopping and bill-pay are the norm. By offering online giving, you appeal to a wider range of donors.
Your donors appreciate the convenience of online giving because it matches their lifestyle. It also gives them the ability to set up recurring donations, which is even better for your organization because giving becomes more stable. Recurring donations make it into your bank account whether people attend a service or not, which is especially helpful during the summer months when attendance typically declines.
What is Monk Donate?
Monk Donate is the name we gave to our online giving product. In other words, Monk Donate allows you to have online giving on your website. This is a new PCI-compliant ecommerce system which enables end users to manage a host of new payment options when submitting payments through websites powered by Ekklesia 360 and MonkCMS.
Monk Donate provides great features for your organization, including:
- PCI Compliance (what is PCI compliance?)
- New modern interface
- Optimized for mobile devices
- Ability for users to manage billing/account information
- Ability for users to create/cancel recurring donation plans
- Advanced recurrent donation options (weekly, bimonthly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Multiple donation types possible in one transaction (one time + recurring)
- Customizable header for branding (custom logo image + link colors)
