Why should I use an online giving system?

Your donors appreciate the convenience of online giving because it matches their lifestyle. It also gives them the ability to set up recurring donations, which is even better for your organization because giving becomes more stable. Recurring donations make it into your bank account whether people attend a service or not, which is especially helpful during the summer months when attendance typically declines.
What is Monk Donate?
Monk Donate is the name we gave to our online giving product. In other words, Monk Donate allows you to have online giving on your website. This is a new PCI-compliant ecommerce system which enables end users to manage a host of new payment options when submitting payments through websites powered by Ekklesia 360 and MonkCMS.

MinistryLINQ is a leading payment processing provider for ministries.
When connected to a MonkCMS content management system, payments are accepted through the Monk Donate. Resulting transaction data including the donation category, amount, and donor contact information is stored in Monk Donate for safe keeping and can be exported to CSV at any time.

Can other companies outside of MinistryLINQ be used?
Most certainly! If it better fits your needs, you can also use Monk Donate with a third-party merchants outside of MinistryLINQ, as long as those merchants offer Authorize.NET credentials. MinistryLINQ is just our preferred provider. However, to support third party merchant accounts, we charge to following on top of whatever you merchant providers fees are.

How do I get Monk Donate on my site?
Contact us to get started using Monk Donate. You'll first open a merchant account (We recommend MinistryLINQ) and then your CMS instance will be connected to Monk Donate.
